Alcohol Policy

ALCOHOL POLICY

Guests are encouraged to drink responsibly. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to purchase and consume alcohol. Proper identification is necessary to purchase any alcoholic beverages. Each guest is limited to 2 alcoholic beverages per transaction. All alcohol sales will conclude 30 minutes prior to the end of the match. Event personnel reserves the right to discontinue sales at any time. Guests will not be allowed to bring alcohol into or out of event. Guests will not be permitted to enter the event if they appear intoxicated. Drunk and disorderly behavior, or violation of any alcohol policy will result in immediate removal from the event. 

ANIMAL POLICY

Animals Policy

Service dogs are allowed inside event with guests that need their assistance. No pets or other animals are permitted.

CLEAR BAG POLICY

Clear Bag Policy

Pitch Lenexa has implemented a clear bag policy which limits the size and type of bag that can be brought into the events.  Attendees should be prepared to open their bags for inspection and may be asked by the event security team to shift and possibly remove the contents.  All bags are subject to search, and this inspection is considered a condition of entry.

 

Backpacks (including purse backpacks, clear backpacks, or drawstring/cinch bags of any kind or size) are not permitted inside the events. â€‹

Below is an outline of acceptable bags:

​

  • Clear bags measuring 12” x 12” x 6” or smaller may be permitted after inspection by event security. 

  • Small clutch purses measuring 4.5” x 6.5” or smaller may be permitted after inspection by the event security team. 

  • Attendees that need to bring a medical bag or a diaper bag, when accompanied by a baby or small child, will be subject to the same inspection procedures. These bags will be searched event security. 

CODE OF CONDUCT

Code of Conduct

Event staff/volunteers will intervene to support an environment where all event patrons can enjoy the event. Guests attending events are required to refrain from the following:

 

  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, threatening or illegal in nature. 

  • Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment. 

  • Interference with the progress of the event, going onto the stage or throwing any objects onto the stage/at the screens. 

  • Failing to follow instructions of event security, personnel, law enforcement, etc. 

  • Verbal or physical harassment of or any conduct deemed inappropriate or dangerous to guests, event personnel, vendors, etc. 

  • Unreasonably obstructing the view of other guests. 

  • Offensive or obscene gestures, language, signs or clothing, to include the use of such language or gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin, or to instigate, incite or encourage a confrontation or physical assault. 

  • Conduct that results in damage to the venue or other personal property. 

  • Smoking of any kind (including vaping). 

  • Spitting of any kind (tobacco, sunflower seeds, etc.). 

  • Bringing prohibited items into the event. 

  • Behavior that detracts from the enjoyment of fellow guests. 

  • Selling items or soliciting business unrelated and unsanctioned by Pitch Lenexa. 

FOOD AND BEVERAGE POLICY

Food and Beverage Policy

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, *bottles, cans and food of any type, are prohibited from being brought into the event. Food from local food trucks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for sale.

*Guests may bring unfrozen 20 oz. water bottles into the event, provided the water bottle is factory sealed/unopened. (one per person). 

PARKING

Parking Policy

Event parking opens at 5 pm on event days and is is located within the Kiewit parking garage at 8900 Penrose Lane. Two entrances are available on 89th/Penrose Lane and a third on 90th & Renner Boulevard.  Guests must follow the directions given by Pitch Lenexa staff/volunteer parking attendants.  Parking is free, but is first come, first served. One vehicle per one parking space. 

 

Please note: parking garage and on-street time limits will be in effect in areas surrounding the event within Lenexa City Center. Violations of any posted parking limits may result in a fine or towing by the City of Lenexa Police Department. â€‹

PERMITTED ITEMS

Permitted Items Policy

To help make entry quick and maintain a safe environment, certain items are allowed at Pitch Lenexa events but may be subject to inspection by our staff. All permitted items must comply with our size, usage, and safety guidelines, and inspections are conducted at the discretion of event personnel. Please be prepared for a brief check upon entry and review the list below to ensure your items meet event requirements.

  • Bag/camp chairs 

  • Clear bags (see Clear Bag Policy above) 

  • Still cameras 

  • Blankets to sit on 

  • Banners, signs, and flags (no larger than 3’ x 5’) 

  • Small, compact umbrellas 

  • Water bottle (factory sealed, 20 oz. or less) 

  • Breast pump and supplies 

  • Portable chargers (No larger than 6” x 3” x 1.5” and disconnected from devices during security check) 

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Prohibited Items Policy

To help ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests, Pitch Lenexa has a list of items that are not permitted at our events. These guidelines are in place to support crowd safety, comply with local regulations, and keep our space welcoming for everyone. Please review the prohibited items below before arriving, as items not allowed on the premises.

  • All food and beverage (excluding 20 oz. factory-sealed bottled water) 

  • Glass, metal, plastic thermos, cups, bottles, or flasks (i.e. Stanley, YETI, etc.) 

  • Coolers, containers and bags larger than permissible size 

  • Grills 

  • Wagons 

  • Weapons (firearms, knives, baseball bats, hockey sticks, brass knuckles, etc.) 

  • Fireworks or other explosive materials 

  • Flammable liquids 

  • Boom boxes 

  • Video or professional cameras 

  • Laser pointers of any kind 

  • Drones or any remote-controlled devices 

Smoking & Tobacco Policy

SMOKING & SMOKELESS TOBACCO POLICY

Smoking (including e-cigarettes) and smokeless tobacco are not allowed anywhere at inside the fenced area of events.
