Kansas City is gearing up for the FIFA World Cup 2026 with a major Fan Fest and community soccer watch parties across the metro. The free FIFA Fan Festival at the National WWI Museum and Memorial will run on select days in June and July, transforming the museum lawn with giant screens, local food vendors, interactive soccer activities, and space for up to 25,000 fans to watch World Cup matches and soak in global fan energy. In addition to the downtown Fan Fest, suburban communities like Lenexa are hosting their own watch parties in Lenexa City Center—complete with huge screens, family-friendly inflatables, and food trucks—to bring residents and visitors together to celebrate the beautiful game and showcase local culture throughout the region during the tournament.
