Nearby businesses like Made in KC have been gearing up for the watch parties, stocking up on apparel, extending hours and decorating to welcome visitors.

“I am partial to Lenexa. I grew up here and I think it’s a great place to visit and I think this is a fun way to showcase what we have to offer,” said Amy Smith, general manager of Made in KC Lenexa City Center.

Mike Nolan of Pitch Lenexa said he is looking forward to the first kick in the match at 8 p.m.

Kylee Taylor, a Pitch Lenexa partner, said she is excited to see the community come out together and see the space get filled.

“I’m just so excited to see our community come out together, and just see the space get filled, and see everybody just come together the way that Lenexa is just known to do,” Taylor said.

Parking can be found in Kiewit’s lot behind the building.

The Johnson County United Link bus is available for $5 per day.
