Pitch Lenexa and Platinum XP to Host Community Events During the 2026 World Cup

Lenexa, Kansas – Pitch Lenexa is proud to announce an exciting partnership with event production agency Platinum XP to host a series of free, independent community events during the 2026 World Cup. This initiative—organized by a coalition of eight Lenexa based companies—is designed to bring people together, introduce the broader Kansas City community to Lenexa, and celebrate one of the world’s most iconic sporting events in an unforgettable way.

The event series will take place at Lenexa City Center, a vibrant 200-acre hub, conveniently located along Interstate 435 and sitting within a few miles of where I-35, I-435, U.S. 69, K-10 and K-7 meet.This exciting and walkable neighborhood combines shopping, restaurants, entertainment venues, offices, living options and hotels.

Events will take place the following days:

• June 16, 2026

• June 25, 2026

Each event will offer free admission, creating a welcoming, family-friendly environment for thousands of fans. The events will be a celebration of sport, culture, and connection—aiming to highlight Lenexa’s spirit and community as Kansas City serves as a 2026 host city.

In addition to the match-day excitement, the events plan to feature a community art project, where attendees can contribute to a mural or permanent installation—a legacy piece honoring Lenexa’s role in this global moment.

Event production will be led by Platinum XP, known nationally for delivering next-level experiences with exceptional attention to detail.
